Swedish Massage – 60 minutes $75.
This is the most common type of massage, it combines various hands-on techniques including gliding, kneading, and cross-fiber friction to break up muscle knots. It can be slow and gentle, or vigorous and bracing, depending on what the therapist and client want to achieve.
Reflexology – 60 minutes $75.
Reflexology is a form of bodywork that focuses on the feet and hands. The underlying theory is that there are “reflex” areas on the feet, and the hands that correspond to specific organs, glands and other parts of the body.
Hot Stone Massage – 60 minutes $80.
Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones, either as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body while massaging other parts of the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply.
Raindrop Therapy – 60 minutes $80.
This massage focuses on the back, and includes applying essential oils (oregano, basil, thyme, marjoram, cypress and wintergreen) directly to the skin along the spine. This creates a “heat” in the tissue assisting the muscles in opening up and relaxing.
Acupressure Facials – 30 minutes, $30, Add to a 60 minute massage for $20.
Facial Acupressure is an advanced technique of holding pressure on specific points of the face which encourages and allows energy to travel correctly along the pathways of the body. Blockages can occur at points on the meridians in response to emotional or physical stresses. There is no need for oils or creams to be used on the face.
Paraffin Treatments for Hands and Feet – 60 minutes, Only available when included with a Swedish, Hot Stone, or Raindrop Therapy $15.
Prior to your massage heated paraffin wax is applied to your hands and feet by dipping them several times until the layers are 5 to 10 mm thick, then wrapped in plastic. This will encourage relaxation, relieve pain and increase circulation in the hands and feet.
